Rooting for the Home Team

I often point out that while I follow the Twins, I'm really just a fan of the home team. I still like baseball, though, so even though the Twins are out of the post-season play, I'm still cheering for the home team. Now the home team is the Detroit Tigers, representing the AL Central, where the Twins also play. Bubbling-up my loyalties, I guess. Additionally, the Tigers are playing the Yankees in the first round of the ALDS, and I generally root for any team playing against the Yankees, so my cheering for the Tigers is double.
