Killing Zoe (1994)

Netflix delivered this shoot-em-up starring Eric Stolz.

Eric Stolz plays Zed, to whom we're introduced as he arrives in Paris "on business." The cabbie sets him up with a prostitute (who astutely points out she's not a prostitute, but a student who has sex with men for money...she has a day job) named Zoe.

As she's showering, you know, after, Zed's childhood friend long returned to Paris. We learn that they plan to rob the only bank open the next day.

After a night of heavy drinking and drug use, the gang storms the bank. Here, we learn, is Zoe's day job. Both Eric and Zed recognize Zoe, and she recognizes them, but none of the three act on this.

Things go wrong, as they do in all bank heist films, and tensions build and boil until the police finally storm and put an end to the robbery.
